Hello Everydog & Girl Girl,
Last weekend, my hoomans decided to bring me out for a leisurely walk on Sunday morning. You see, the weather in Singapore has been really strange lately. It can be bright and sunny in the morning, but by noon time, the skies start to get dark and before you can say Oh my DOGness *coupled with a surprised look*, it starts to pour cats & dogs (heh heh..no pun intended).
Anyhoo, I was totally enjoying my walk at the park cos it's been a while since I had a chance to go there. So I met a couple of other dogs...so I barked and growled (I even tried to lunge at them), but I was a good girl. No no, I was just being friendly and did not bite!! It's not my fault if my hoomans don't bring me out as often as I like so I just want to meet as many new friends as possible.
Then along came a family with a little girl who exclaimed really loudly to her parents when they finished admiring my long elegant body "Oh Mummy! Look! It's a BANANA dog! She's as long as a BANANA!" Now, I have been called many things...sausage dog, weiner dog..but seriously? BANANA? Tell me, do I look like one to you?

Were you wearing a bright yellow raincoat? Maybe then you might look like a banana - otherwise you are too brown and fuzzy (and cute) to look like a banana.
We love to EAT bananas so we would never think of you as a banana!!!

Luckie, you are not a banana! The correct wording is the banana looks like a dachsie. No wait, that's not right either. I think the girl musta looked like a banana then. But, if you did look like a banana, that would be okay because I like bananas :-)
