Mom goes BANG!

Hello!!

Happy Easter everydog & frendz ~ I hope the Easter Bunny came along with lots of eggs for you. I didn't manage to find any eggs at my house though. The hoomans brought me out this weekend and it was very exciting!! Can't wait to show ya the piktures!!

I am happy to announce that Mom is now well trained to play BANG (play dead) with me. In fact, I managed to find some time to teach Dad to play BANG with me too. Yeah, I managed to get my hoomans to capture me in my very own first BANG BANG video feat Mom. I had to share my screen time with Mom and well, please don't take your attention away from me alright? :) Gosh, can you believe I had to play dead 3 times just to get her to feed me?

I wanna train Mom to shake paws with me next...so dear frendz, how did you train your hooman to shake their paw with ya?

PS : Did ya notice that even my tail was very very straight? I take this play dead business very seriously.

How did you magically come back to life each time, Luckie? Wow...it's a miracle! Hehehe!

All joking aside, very nice job playing dead :)

Our mom showed us this video and said that we don't get any more snackies until we learn a new trick. We only know sit, dance, and lie down. Mom has tried and tried to teach Annie to shake, but she refuses to do it.

We are proud of you for doing dead so well.

Luckie, I am so proud of you and your Mom! That i a wonderful trick. My Mom has been trying to teach me that but I get it mixed up with rolling over.

Mom taught me to shake by picking up my paw, saying shake and giving me a treat all at the same time ... over and over and over. She coud not figure out any other way. Gradually she would only give me a treat if I slightly moved my paw on my own. Then it seemed like I figured out I had to lift it pretty quickly. Now, as soon as I see treats, I start doing tricks, rolling over, down, sit, and shake as fast as I can to et the treat. Of couse she doesn't give me on till she picks the trick.

Way to go. I am going to make Mom practice BANG now.

Luckie, good job on the Bang. You wanna train your mum to shake paws too? Maybe giving her treats will help?

Wow Luckie! You are awesome and very quick! Even your taught your tail to play dead! I wonder if I could teach my mom "bang" so that it's interchangeable with "play dead." Job well done, Luckie.

Great job Luckie! Sasha sort of plays dead and hold still just like you, but Mom has to put her onto her back, she wont' just lay down. I don't know about the hand shaking thing. Mom and Dad have been trying to teach me that one for a couple years now. I sort of do it, and I learn other tricks really fast, but I just don't like to shake. Sasha won't shake at all because she doesn't like her feet touched. If you touch her feet, she thinks you're going to trim her nails. Sorry we can't help you with that. You train your Mom really good though, I'm sure you'll figure it out.
