Let's shake paw (hand whatever)

Hello frenz,

I realised it has been some time since I posted videos of myself and I haven't had time to teach Mom more new tricks besides BANG BANG. Tsk tsk, hoomans get really lazy if you don't constantly practice those tricks with them.

Here's some videos of ME (feat Mom) performing SHAKE PAW (or hand). I'm sorry but since Mom doesn't have an extra arm, she wasn't able to shake my paw like the way the trick was meant to be. One hand was holding on to the camera and the other was holding my treat. har har har.... So just use your imagination a little and try to imagine both of us shaking hands.

I was not able to train Mom to shake my other paw cos she's stoopid erm no, I mean she's a right handed and thus, with her lousy motor skills ability, she probably used up all her brain juice and blah blah...she basically can only shake one of my paws alright? No more questions about that. Mom's getting very embarrassed.

Here goes :

Luckie Shake Hands - Take 1

Luckie Shake Hands - Take 2

Luckie Shake Hands - Take 3

In all fairness, this was a fairly tough trick for me cos I'm short and so are my legs and yeah, I can't quite balance well enough so please don't laff at me. :( I tried my best!!
Mom thinks I look really happy in the videos. She can be so deluded....I look happy all the time. Sheesh. I'm going to think of another trick to teach my Mom now. I'm open to suggestions so please let me know what else you think I should teach her.
Anyhoo, I realised my treat box was running low in supplies and voila - Mom bought new goodies for me. I have her well trained eh?

Salmon Treats. Yum yum..They are very crunchy!!

She bought me some rawhides too. These keep me busy during the day while the hoomans are at work. She's really stingy with them and doesn't allow me to eat or chew on too many of them.

Because Mom didnt' pay attention in pre-school, she couldn't tell the difference between small and medium. The left rawhide is the teeny weeny size ones which I get. She bought the wrong size (It looks FINE to me if you ask me) and the new ones are bigger (and better!!).

My 1st barkday is drawing near. I have to start coming up with my barkday wishlist for my hoomans to work on.
Before I forget, Hana asked if the Toucan was real. Actually, Mr Toucan was real. This was the very same bird that Dad took. Check out Mom's version *rolls eyes*. Mr Toucan was in a cage and Dad was able to capture only the bird and not the cage. Wierd...I have no idea how he does that. Obviously, Mom doesn't either. *sniggle sniggle*

People just are not as adept at shaking paws, are they? They can't multi-task very well if you ask me! I liked your 3 "takes!"

Regarding the Toucan, your mom sure took a nice clear picture of the CAGE! Thank dogness your dad is master of the camera!

Hey Luckie!
Thanks for stopping by! I've been wondering what you've been up too! I like that when your mum isn't fast enough w/your treat, you start looking around wondering when she's going to give it to you! I do that ALL the time...and when I get REALLY frustrated with mum, I bark at her!

Hey Luckie, thanks for the barkday wishes you left for me on my blog!

Oh, there was nothing to laugh about... That was a cute trick! Maybe instead of your mama saying shake paw, why not way paw up? Coz you can get confused sometimes... Believe me, I know it. Maybe I should show you Chloe's dog dressage, that should be easy for you to learn. Hehe!

Love licks,

If you do 20 takes - do you get 20 treats??

I have the same issue--I'm a four paws on the ground kinda guy. It works better with our NORMALLY (ie, no freakishly long) sized legs.

You could learn how to spin. That's a good one because it stretches out the muscles along your side. And YOUR muscles are very loooong!

Really smart, Luckie. All those takes and a treat every time! Brilliant! Listen don't be feeling bad that your legs are short. At least when you shake paws you don't knock somebody over like I do.

OMG Luckie! YOu are so smart!
I must work hard on listening to my Daddy & Mummy's commands now.

Bones.... mmmMMmmmm.....

I think you should learn to spin too!

Hi, Luckie. You are so smart by doing tricks. I can't do anything (maybe is the trainer, right?) I'll be waiting for the next trick!
Make a big birthday list, you'll get as much as you want!

Hey - when was your Mom up here in Alaska buying you wild salmon treats? She didn't even come over to my house to say Hi. Jeez - you're not kidding about her, eh?

Oh Luckie, you are doing just fine. Perhaps you can learn 'Roll over' now since you know how to do 'Bang'. I always confused the two thou. *Sniggle*

I can shake too. I will try to make a video of it and post it. Your Mom's picture of the toucan is (cough cough) awesome, but I think what your Mom lacks in camera expertise, she makes up in kindness by helping you blog.

luckie , you crack me and my mom up !! the preschool thing made mom laff for like 20 min . no offence to your mom but your dads pic' of the toucan was much better than your moms :P :) hehehe

Mmmmm...those salmon treats look YUMMY!

Good job shaking hands, er, paw, Luckie!

Hi Luckie,

Just realise something regaring Mr. Toucan's picture. Maybe your mum was focusing on the cage and not Mr. Toucan as the cage looks really clear to me.

Oh, so is the medium size rawhide the right size for you?

Just looking at those treats made me hungry! Yummy, treats. I'd say something else, but I am too busy thinking about treats....

You are so smart Luckie. You managed to wrangle a treat for each time you shook a paw. You are also so smart for knowing how to shake a paw. I don't know that one. Mmmmm! Treats look yummy. I've never had fish before. Is it good?
