Jurong Bird Park - Part 1

Hello frenz,

The hoomans took some time off from work recently to visit the Singapore Jurong Bird Park. I can't believe the nerve of them, they had to go visit BIRDS? Don't they know I should also be involved in this activity? I can't imagine how much fun I would have had chasing those darn birds around. Erm..there should be tons of them inside the bird park I think. Isn't that a place where hoomans bring their birds for walkies or something?

Here are some piktures of those birdies in the park.

Two birdies eating out of their dish. Does it mean they don't need a water dish? Since they are surrounded by water all the time?

Check out that ancient looking bird! Yikes, I think it's a DODO or something. LOL! (Luckie's Mom : Luckie, it's not a DODO)

Here are the pelicans at their enclosure. Mom thought they were cranes. *rolls eyes*

This is the largest man-made waterfall found inside the Bird Park.

Colorful birdie staring at Mom.

Another colorful birdie. They love to eat fruits and there were dishes of papayas, apples and other exotic fruits laid around for them to feast on.

This is a video taken by Mom of the Pelicans flapping their very wide wings.

I love this video the most. Look at those pelicans touching down!!

The hoomans also went to the penguin enclosure to look at the penguins (DUH!!!).

Doesn't it look like a scene from Happy Feet? hee hee

Check back for the next instalment of pikctures!! :)

Wow Luckie, that was very educational and entertaining. I love the blue bird. Aren't the penguins a little hot in Singapore? Or do they provide them air-conditioning? One time my Mom went to the zoo in Thailand and they had pandas and the pandas had air-conditioning. The hallways in the very fancy hotel where Mom was staying were not air-conditioned but the pandas at the zoo had AC!

What beautiful pictures! I agree with you though - it was rude of your hoomans not to take you to see all the pretties too!

Oh, look at that pweetty colorful birdie! Oh your hoomans are so mean to leave you at home AGAIN! I don't understand our hoomans... How can they be so cruel to neglect us! You should show tantrum Luckie & tell them how unhappy you are...

Love licks,

Eveyone is right, Luckie. It was very unfair that you didn't get to go to the bird park. Maybe if your humans put some feathers on you they can take you next time! Just make sure they can get you back out after everyone sees what a pretty bird you are.

Hey Luckie,
Those are some awesome pictures of the birdies. Mama really liked the waterfall too. We think you should have gotten to go with your parents. You could inspect all of those birds, hehehehe. Go see our blog, we posted Koi Luckie. Mama finally got some decent pictures of her shimmering scales. Hope you had a great weekend!

Hi, Luckie.
That place looks awesome! So bad you were left at home, I am sure you had liked to chase those birds.
