This post is seriously overdue. hehe but since I need some time to sort out my barkday pressies I think it's a good time to blog about this gathering. I went to my very first Singapore Hot Dogs meeting at Vivo City last Sunday and had an awesome time meeting with my new friends!! Not to mention, it was also the first time I got to meet with Eil Jie Jie & Huskee's Maid. Little Reina also turned up for the gathering.
The gathering was held at the playground of a large pet shop in the Vivo City which is Singapore's newest shopping mall. It's a huge mall with lotsa shops and cinemas. Vivo City is very crowded over the weekend and my hoomans were once again late for the gathering cos they couldn't find a parking lot!!! Oh dog, it seems like I'm always late for any gatherings. We parked at a car park which happened to be quite a distance from the pet shop and Mom had to carry me in her arms across the busy shopping mall. We even took those moving stairs thingy (Luckie's Mom : It's an escalator!!). There were so many hoomans staring at us and it was so noisy. I have to admit I was really a tad bit afraid but I did not bark or squirm in Mom's arms. (Luckie's Mom : I felt really bad cos she was really shaking in my arms. I think she's not used to the crowd and the noise!!).
Dad took lotsa of pikctures and here's some group shots just to show you how much fun we had!! There were probably 15 to 20 of us and I think we were celebrities there! So many hoomans gathered around us taking piktures and some basically just gawked at us.

That's me looking at my friends. Yeah, I was on the leash. Can you spot little Reina in her Mommy's arms on the right side of the pikcture?
Another group shot. Joseph is the only standard dachshund (black/tan long hair) in our group and he's a big fellow. He's wearing a light blue tee shirt and standing on the left. His brother, Jaime, is a mini black tan smooth coat like Reina. Jaime is also wearing the same light blue tee shirt. The pwetty babe in the dress is Sundae.
Can you spot the two brothers, Joseph & Jaime?
More daschies!!! The hip looking dude dressed up in the jeans and shirt is Oscar. He definitely won the best dresser award for the day. His sister, is Sundae looking gorgeous in her dress!
Dad didn't really take that many group shots cos he enjoys taking portrait shots the most. So sit back relax and enjoy all the pikctures. :)
Pretty Reina looking so cool in her new Adidog Tee Shirt!! Hey, I just noticed she's wearing her harnass over her Tee Shirt.
Meet Samurai. The one month+ baby boy of our group. Isn't he a cutie?
Another Shot!
Hello everydog! I am Samurai!
This is Kimura. Brother of Samurai. They belong to the same litter.
Oh my dog, isn't he a sweetie??
Cute Cute Cute!!
That's me enjoying myself in Mom's arms.
This is Jerry. He's the oldest daschie in our group.
Doesn't he look suave?
Action shot of Jerry~
Jerry having fun!
Jerry chilling out.
Sitting with his family.
Look how happy Jerry looks!
He's very good-looking and he's a MODEL too!! Did I mention he's the grandfather of those two cute puppies?
This is Lay Lay. She's very friendly and has really cute ears!!
I think purple has to be her favorite color.
Another shot of bootiful Lay Lay.
This is Lenny, the only wire-hair daschie in our group. He is also Lay Lay's brother!
Look at his cheeky grin. :)
Handsome side profile.
Checking out the babes...Erm, he was also very busy trying to erm..hump Lay Lay when their Mom was not looking. Notti boy!!
Relaxing at one corner.
Check back for my next post and more pikctures!!!

What a great group of dachsies! Your dad did a good job on the pictures too. It is so nice that you get to meet other dachsies at gatherings. We got to meet Mona, Toby and Jacks (who leave you comments) at a pawty. Dachsies parties sure do attract a lot of attention!

Once again, your dad took some great portraits! I love the little dress on the girl dachsie. Is your Mom gonna get you a pretty pink dress?
