My First Time

Hey frendz,

I'm counting down to my barkday which happens like next Saturday. The hoomans have been very secretive and there doesn't seem to be any pawty doing on. This is like totally depressing. Plus, I overheard them saying that my granny's barkday falls on the same weekend as mine and they are bringing her out to celebrate. What about MEEEEEE?? :(

You know what? I have never met another daschie before in real life. NEVER! How sad is that when you don't get to meet some dawg that look somewhat like you at all?

But the good news is, I finally had a chance to meet one at the park. I was minding my own business walking along the park when I heard a bark. It sounded awfully like my own bark. I started looking around and saw her staring at me between the bushes!

Erm, ok..so she's not exactly between the bushes now. Her Dad's posing with her right now. Mom was very excited and quickly carried me over to meet up with my new friend who had brought her hoomans out for a walkie at the park too. Her name is Smile and her hoomans are from Japan - Land of the Rising Sun. I wonder if she gets to eat sushi for dinner!

I was trying to inch closer and closer to her but she seemed really afriad of me. I have no idea why!! I wasn't barking, I swear I just wanted to smell her and rub noses with her. (Luckie's Mom : It's true..she kept moving in and was grinning very happily. Her tail was wagging non stop cos maybe she's happy to see someone as small as her!) Anyhoo, she's a 2.5 years old long hair black tan daschie but she's really small as compared to erm...me. As her hoomans do not speak English that well, Mom looked so ridiculous trying to communicate with them. haha Smile is also imported from Australia and nope, her hoomans did not bring her in from Japan when they relocated in Singapore. Smile's parents were really kind, they kept saying I was kawaii and I know that means cute in Japanese. I'm really quite the linguist eh?

Just look at the difference in size??? I am not FAT no I am NOT!!!! Mom says I need to go on a diet. I'm just big boned like my hoomans.

Isn't that kawaii??? :) She's winking at us. I hope to meet more daschies one day. In fact, I think that should be my barkday wish!! Mom, are you reading this??

And yes, I do realised there has been a lack of my pikctures on my blog and I need to rectify that right now.

I love you guys!! :)

Happy almost Barkday, Luckie! I will probably not be posting too much over the weekend because I'll be recovering from my stoopid surgery, but I'll be thinking of you!

I'm glad you got to meet another Dachsund, but I must say that you are much prettier than she is ;)

Puggy kisses

Smile is adorable, just like you are so adorable! Did you and Smile exchange barknumbers so you can have playdates? I hope you gave her your bloggy URL! Her dad might be master of the camera like your dad... look at the size of his camera! Looks like you guys have things in common.
