I'll show you who's BOSS!

Hello Everydog & Girl Girl,

It has been a busy week at home cos Dad was involved in the Singapore Airshow 2008. He came home really late and left the house before the sun was up. It has been really disruptive for me cos we all know I need my beauty sleep. He showed me a couple of piktures of the flying aero-displays but I wasn't too impressed. Those planes look like BIRDS to me and I hate BIRDS. Perhaps if I have time, I'll show you a couple of piktures too and let you decide if they look like BIRDS.

A couple of weeks ago, Mom & I were chased by mean black swans at the park. Mom ran off screaming her head off but I was undeterred by those nasty swans. I showed them who's boss and thank dog, Dad managed to show you some evidence of me in action. Do you see Mom anywhere near me? I may be small but I know how to protect my hoomans. On the hindside, those swans could have actually *eaten* me up. *shudders* I just hope my hoomans know how good I am to them protecting them with my life.

Last Sunday, my hoomans brought me out for a playdate with a 7 month old boy Black-Tan long hair dachshund. Mom said he's looking for his forever home and asked me to play nice with him. And so I tried.....*NOT*!! That little fellow (he's a very handsome looking boy actually) was really cheeky and kept trying to smell my butt. I spent more of our playdate sitting on the floor trying to hide from him. He kept taunting me with his squeaky ball but I was not getting off my butt I tell ya. In any case, I hope he finds his forever home soon.'s not going to my home right Mom??

On a side note, I heard news that Dad will be travelling to Ottawa, Ontario Canada next month for a course. It's going to be a 24-36 hours flight from Singapore and that's only one way. Imagine how long the journey is! Hmm..I wonder what I should be packing for the trip. I heard it's very cold (below zero). Maybe I can visit some of my Canadian friends! (Luckie's Mom : I don't think you'll be going with him, Luckie!)

I have been having some problems with my camera and piktures uploading with my Macbook so until I figure that out, I'll have to depend on Dad for my piktures and we all know how long he takes to release new piktures. :P

Wow Luckie, those are very big birds!! You are so brave to chase them. Your Mom and Dad are so lucky to have you around. Lucky, get it? hahahaha

Golly, how is your Dad going to go from Singapore heat to Canada cold? That will be a shocker!!! Does he even have a coat? You better shed a lot and make him one quick.

Good job showing those swans who is boss! We are glad they didn't eat you because we like having you for a friend. You should probably stay in Singapore and protect your mom while your dad is in Canada. But it would be nice to play with your Canadian friends ...

Mom and dad used to have black swans here!Mom loved their ruffled feathers! If these are mean ones, then it's good that you put them in their place, Luckie!
Maybe you can hide in your dad's suitcase and fly to Canada with him!

Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch

I wish my mom would let me chase birds.

Wow, you showed them dumb birdies. We don't mind the birdies, but we HATE the squirrels, those we show who is boss.

You're suck a good protector! Before Mom adopeted any of us she was chased by a swan, too. She says to tell your Mom she totally understands and she didn't laugh at you saying she went running and screaming.

Luckie, are you SURE you wouldn't want a little brother? He sounds pretty cute, and you'd probably get used to him. You would always be the boss cause you're bigger than him.

I hope your dad has a safe trip when he goes on that l-o-n-g plane ride. You can cuddle with your mom when he's gone and get extra attention (and protect her from the swans, of course!).

I can see in that picture how brave you are! I am not sure I'd do the same thing!

Tell you dad we wish him a happy and safe trip to Canada!
Kisses and hugs

Hi Luckie! It sounds like you were not amused by that boy dachsie... Not even phased by his crazy antics with trying to get you to play ball with him. Tsk tsk, what is your Mom up to?

Hey, that must be some class your Dad is attending all the way in Canada. He had better bring you back some Canadian treats! Maybe he will run into Copper since Copper is headed up that way to the North Pole!

Nice picture of you in action chasing those bad swans! Glad you have proof of it!

Whoa, Luckie Girl!

Do you want to be on my GooberStanian Brute Squad? I think I'd trust you to head up my security crew, anytime! (Way to go, sistah!) Those black swans are probably STILL talking about the fierce pupgirl who ran them off.

Too bad you're not coming with your dad on his trip. You could spend all your time in GooberSTan, or at least visit your Canadian buddies.

Goober love & smooches,
