Things that make you go hmmmm....

Dear frenz,

Firstly, I know you must be wondering if I succeeded with my heart-shaped poop surprise for my hoomans on Valentine's Day. The answer is no. I did not even get a chance to eat anything to make my poop PINK. But Dad did send a sweet message to Mom saying that he would be back early for dinner (at home - cos my hoomans never celebrate Valentine's Day at all for the past 11 years they have been together) and he ended his message saying "I love you and Luckie too!" Awwww........ I love you too Dad! MUACK! MUACK! MUACK!

Last week, Copper blogged about some things that make him think. It made me think about things that make me go hmmm too.

1) Why does Mom always say I leave a lot of hair around the house? I see a lot of her hair on the floor too and you don't hear me complaining do you? Plus, I'm even closer to the ground so I even have to lie down on her mess sometimes.

2) Watching TV. How can Dad turn into a couch potato and stay there all day long staring at the TV? Pawsonally, I don't watch TV. I can't figure out how they trap those hoomans and animals inside and it freaks me out. How did Dad get so good at his STAY command? Will I also know how to SIT and STAY at one spot for a long time if I watch TV?

3) What do hoomans do at work? Do they sleep (yes I know some peepol can sleep with their eyes open) at work? Do they pretend to be busy? Do they surf the internet? Do they just wait for feeding time (I think they call it lunch) and time for them to go home? My question is..do they even work?

4) Why can't I have access to my treat container as and when I feel like it? It's mine so I should have the right to feed myself (okay, so I may need a little help prying open the lid). I don't understand why my pawrents can gorge on their treats and then moan & groan about feeling guilty and fat all the time. I conclude I should be able to indulge myself anytime and then moan & groan about it later on too. PS : I am not fat.

5) Why do I always need to get my butt wiped and feet cleaned after I finish with my toilet business? I feel pawfectly clean and I am capable of cleaning myself. If I could flush my own pee tray, I would do so. If I had toilet paper to clean myself, I'd use it to make SNOW!!! Wheeeee!! Showers are also over-rated unless they come with a treat each time.

This is like the longest post I have written in months. I need to nap now. Oh, in case you are wondering what have all these piktures got to do with my subject, they don't. I just wanted to post them so you can see how nice I look in my top. :)

We think Mom does nothing at work all day but she comes home and says she is tired. We aren't tired. We napped all day until she got home. We are ready to PARTY!!

You look very nice in your top. And you are so calm while you are wearing it. We would be trying to rip it off before Mom could finish getting it on us!

Sorry you didn't get to make Valentine's poop. That would have been a great present.

We don't know what our girl does at work all day either. We think she just gets to go on long car rides and types on blogs all day.

I like your top Luckie ... very cute.

I know what my Mom does at work because I've gone with her. She sits at a desk and shuffles papers and tyoes on a computer and then goes up and down the stairs leaving me in her office ALONE! It is boring. But, at feeding time she comes home every day now to ME! She says she wastes 30 minutes of her lunch hour and gas coming home to me every day.

I can't get my treat can open either.

I agree with you too! She complains about our hair floating around the ground & that she has to vacuum the floor everyday. BUT, her hair is like, all over the house too! Much much more visible than ours infact...

Our mama works while we are snoozing under our big sister's covers! All we care about is that she comes home and we get to snooze AGAIN under HER covers!!

You have some great questions, Luckie, and if you get some answers, I'd like to know what they are.

Maybe you'll be able to make Easter poop since your Valentine poop didn't work out.

That's a lot to think about! What ever my mom does at work makes her grumpy. I went to work with Mom once and to me it looked like she played on the computer all day. I don't know how that could make her grumpy though.

I love your shirt!
Yep - bison (or buffalo) are in the same family as cows and yaks - the bovine family. Bison are the animals that the Native Americans lived on until the white people killed almost all of them to make the Natives starve. Glorious history, huh?

Luckie Girl!

You look FAB in your Pooh shirt (maybe you should have worn it when trying to make your heart-shaped poo).

Now you have me thinking about deep thoughts of my own. I hope you get answers to your questions. I don't get that thing about making us beg for treats either. How humiliating!

Goober love & smooches,
Stanley

My mom wipes my butt when I come back from the potty too. I keep telling her that since I can wrap myself up like a snake, it's really no problem, but you know how moms are.

BTW, your hair is so pretty and silky. Mine looks and acts more like a troll doll.

It is clear to me that you are a good thinker! We will have to find some answers to the questions you posed. Maybe your Mom could be a start!

It's very nice your dad said he loves you too! :-) I wonder if your Mom was jealous.

By the way, very cute top you have on!

Luckie onni,
I love your Pooh bear top! Awwww... my mom thinks your dad is so sweet to end his message that way, especially the fact that he's not left you out! (I think MY papa is in hot soup because of this.. HIAK HIAK)

Hi, Luckie!
I think my mom must play at work all day because she just wants to take nappies when she gets home. I second that notion about the treats too! We should have full access. I made Valentine's poop but it wasn't heart shaped. All the same, mommy still had to pick it up and clean the carpet! I know she loves to do it because she rushes to pick it up as soon as she sees it!
xoxo,
Ricky

Hiya Luckie!

Great post--love the pics & the pooh-bear t-shirt :) My mamma saw something on Etsy.com that made her think of you--it's a t-shirt of a dachsie tearing into a toy bear with the label "Toy-minator" underneath! Tee, we think it's pretty dachsie-appropriate :) If you want to look at it, check it out here: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=6731820
