Wanna play fetch with me?

Dear friends,

Thanks for the lovely comments about my pictures. It's really a good idea to get the nails painted to match my harnass. I'll definately remind Mom the next time I go for my manicure/pedicure. Mom made me pose for a picture of my newly manicured nails last evening so that we can show you how neat my paws are now. :)

Gee, Hershey, I have no idea Copper enjoys the nail trimming so much. I don't mind taking a shower weekly (the weather is really hot here) but anything else..no no no! Don't even remind me of Mom cleaning my ears ~ I only endure that cos she gives me some yummy treats after that.

I gotta work on learning to SMILE more in my pictures. I see some of you with such happy grins on your faces! I wanna pose like that too. I reminded Mom that she still hasn't gotten those ribbons to make me a necklace like Hana but she says I'll end up chewing all the ribbons away. Oh puhleeze, she's gotta give me more credit than that right? Why would I just chew them up when I can eat them? Mom's sister bought me some shoes to wear. Erm, I'm not too sure about those shoes cos I don't wanna look too much like hoomans. They have like so many pairs of shoes and Mom doesn't allow me to play with any of them. That's totally unfair huh? Why should they be hoarding all the shoes?

Hmm..The step in harnass sounds good. I have not seen them before so if Butchy & Snickers would be kind enuff to send me the link that would be great. :) Cos Mom was tugging the darn harnass over my head so many times - it felt like my head was going to roll off any time. Eeuw!

Here's a new video of me playing fetch with my Mom. Please note that I was not HUMPING my Mom although the video may look kinda discriminating. I enjoy jumping into her lap and then leaping out to fetch my toys. If you look closely enuff (sorry about the poor video quality), you'll notice Mom's legs are a tad bit red with scratches from my nails. haha cos this was taken before I got my nails done. *Enjoy*

Finally I get to go for a walk

Dear friends,

What a wonderful weekend I had! Mom brought me out to get my nails done - alright, I hate getting them trimmed but I like meeting other doggy friends there. :) The groomer ladies said I was a good girl so yeah, I think that made Mom happy and I got to go for a nice long walk after that.

Mom forgot to bring her camera along so we can't show you the pictures at the groomers. Darn..but I had fun playing with the two Cocker Spaniels there. They belong to the two groomer ladies and are always so friendly.

We had some problems getting ready to go out. Erm, I usually have to put on a harnass before I get to go out. I don't really enjoy the harnass cos I can walk perfectly FINE on my own but Mom insists...so what the heck! It didn't help that the harnass was really tight...so ok, I put on a teeny weeny bit of weight around my chest. I'm very chesty so there's nothing really wrong right? Hooman ladies complain all the time about not being chesty enuff...so HA! Mom had to adjust the harnass so many times and she got kinda frustrated cos I kept squirming about. After she finally got the harnass fitted on me, she was too *tired* to snap picture of me looking so cool in my red harnass.

I'm going for my manicure today

Hey friends,
Gotta keep this a short post - Mom's going to send me for my manicure and pedicure today. ARGH! The two groomer ladies are really nice to me but seriously, I don't think I need to get my nails trimmed. They look fine and make this really nice click click click noise as I walk around.

I'm glad you enjoyed my jumping video. haha..but the folks ain't too amused now cos they say my nails are too sharp and keep scratching them. Right now, they have been *training* me to stay and sit instead of jumping on them.

Oh yeah, I overheard the folks talking about getting some web-cam thingy to see what I do during the day while they are at work. *GASP* Isn't that invasion of privacy? I don't wanna know what they do at work so I don't see why they should know what I do in my private time. I'm freaking out big time so please cross your dawgy paws for me - don't let them get that silly web-cam.

Up up and away

Hello frenz,

Mom finally got her lazy butt moving and helped me download all my latest movies. But, she only had time to upload ONE for me. Sheesh, it's so hard to get things moving around here.

Oh yeah, here's a picture of my not so new toys after their extreme makeover session with me - Dr Luckie.



Mr Big Brown Bear is now offically known as Captain Hook! He only has one arm. Ain't that kewl? Notice that Mr Big Brown Bear is still smiling? I think he likes having only one arm. I'm working really had on his other arm but Mom keeps trying to take him away. She has a video of me working hard on his arm too. Let's see if she'll find *time* to upload that video.

Unfortunately, Alfred the Bear isn't smiling anymore. If you look closely enuff, you'll notice he has no nose or eyes. Oh yeah, no ears too. I removed this label tag on him. I hate labels!! (Usually we have those floor mats at home with label tags? I'm always the one helping Mom to remove those labels. She may have forgotten that labels are BAD and we need to make sure they are removed.) His tail is also gone and most of his stuffing, squeaker..not to worry, I took really good care of them. heh heh...all GONE!



Here's another look at Alfred from the back. He looks like he went for liposuction huh? All nice and slim. :)

And finally, here's the video of me reaching for Mr Big Brown Bear. Darn, I never knew I could jump that high. All four short legs in the air - looks as if I'm wearing Nike Air Shoes and playing basketball or something.

Guess what I did last night?

Hey dawggyfriends,

I had a great time with Mom - she filmed some new videos of ME having fun. We played fetch a couple of times and I showed her how high I can jump. You gotta see the video to believe it. :) But Mom was wayyy too tired after playing with me to upload the videos. Yeah, she's *that* lazy cos I was the one who was running up and down playing fetch right? Tell me why she should feel tired?

I decided to give another toy - Mr Big Brown Bear a free extreme makeover session. He only has one arm (or should i say leg) left after I chewed him. heh heh... When Mom left for work this morning, I was working on the other limb. It's always good to give ourselves busy when our folks are out of the house don't you agree?

Pictures should be up really soon and here's a older picture of Mr Big Brown Bear in his better days. Oops, he's actually lurking at behind me in this picture.



A picture of me hard at work with my ball at my favourite spot. This ball no longer squeeks! I wish Mom would do a squeeker transplant thingy for this ball. Darn, my ears get so messy when I'm excited.



PS : I think Mom bought some biscuits treats for me and she quickly snucked them into my food drawer. Hopefully I'll get to eat them soon. She's so silly at times trying to hide things from me. I'm a HOUND doggy - I can smell the biscuits a MILE away I tell ya.

Look what Mom bought for me

Hi doggyfrendz,
Mom went to the petshop today and bought me my regular doggy biscuits.


Yum yum - I love these biscuits. I get those mini size ones and Mom even breaks them into half to feed me. Sheesh, those mini biscuits are already so teeny and I still get only half at a time? There are yummylicious greenie bits inside so it's supposed to keep my breath fresh. I don't think I have bad breath cos Mom doesn't seem to mind when I kiss her all the time.

She came across some other biscuits from the same brand - Health Pro. Don't the biscuits look so good? They smell so much like hoomans' food I tell ya. I hope she's planning to get more flavours for me to try. Hey Mom ~ just get me one of each flavour yeah? I need to do a review for my friends out there.

Mom made some potatoes & carrots to mix with my kibbles last night. I didn't touch it much cos you know what? I dislike potatoes! Yucks - what was Mom thinking? I usually only have carrots with my kibbles and my favourite EGGS or MEAT (any kind - I ain't fussy I tell ya). So Mom felt bad that I didn't eat much and I got apples for dessert.

Hmm..I wonder what's for dinner tonight?

Yogi Pee Tray

Hello friends ~
I promised Hana that I'll update how my pee tray works. Mom bought this pee tray from a pet shop and it's made in Korea. It's called the Yogi Pee Tray. The doggie model for the pee tray happens to be a dachshund too. Ain't that cool? :) In fact, I think Mom may have fallen for the advertising gimmick - hahaha...just put any dashshund on anything, she'll probably just buy it.


Check out their website here. They have many cool looking products for us. I heard the water bowl is quite good too cos it keeps our water fresh at all times. Mom says I don't need that cos I always drink from the bottle. She did leave a water bowl for me sometimes and I am a really messy drinker and end up with water all over the floor.

She lines the bottom of the pee tray with newspapers and puts the cover on. I'll do my pee/poo on the tray. And yes, the pee flows thru the holes but erm..well, the poo just remains on the tray. That way I'll never need to step on puddles of my pee.

I don't think the pee tray will work for bigger doggies and I guess most of you guys are outdoor trained too so probably have no use for it. Oh yeah, Fufu, I think they should have one extra small size for hamsterrier too.

The weather has been really lousy - raining all day long. Mom keeps coming into the kitchen to shut the windows for me. Nothing else happening over here. Oh yeah, I had a great time yesterday cos I totally destroyed my favourite bear! Wooo hoo....I can't wait to show you the picture of it!

Not so long ago

Hey friends,

I was reading Copper's blog and saw his super duper cute baby picture. So I decided to ask Mom to look for mine too.

This is a picture of my doggie dad & my doggie mom. I don't really remember much except I was sent away when I turned 10 weeks to a foster home to prepare me for my trip to Singapore.






This is ME when I was a very very young puppy. Actually, that wasn't too long ago and I've certainly grown quite abit. I was only 2.2kg at 3 months!

Mom says everytime she sees this picture, she wishes she could get a little brother or sister for me. Hmm...I'm not too sure about sharing Mom & Dad.

Dad is back

Dear friends,

I'm back in action. Dad came home early Wednesday morning & boy am I happy to see him! I was jumping around and trying to sniff him cos he brought back some wierd smells. And his big bag had so many stuffs and I was a good girl trying to help him unpack. Mom has been busy spending time with Dad. HUUMMMP. What about me??

I was so excited to see Dad that I erm..peed a little on the floor. Mom says that's excitement pee-ing cos I'm still a little girl. *gah* I'm so embarassed!!

The most exciting part was he brought back this two large white boxes of food with holes in them. Mom was so happy (I noticed she drooled a little - haha) and I heard the hoomans commenting something abt the best dognuts on earth - Krispy Kreme! Yeah, the 24 yummy dognuts survived the air-o-plane journey back! Unbelievable, Mom pigged out on them and said they tasted super yummy. And yes my dear friends, she DID NOT SHARE any with me. Well, you must be wondering why the craze over these dognuts cos we do not have Krispy Kreme (KK) in Singapore! And there has been a dognuts craze going on in Singapore recently with one dognut outlet opened (it's quite similiar to KK) and the queues are up to 3 hours. Dad said he walked out at 5am to grab the dognuts before making his way to Chicago airport. Isn't Dad sweet? *muaccks* But he didn't go to any pet shops and buy me Zanies toys!!

Dad took a flight from Chicago which stopped in Hong Kong for 2 hours. The journey took him 15 hours and then the air-o-plane left Hong Kong and reached Singapore. That took another 3-4 hours. USA is so far isn't it?

Happy Sunday

How is your weekend coming along so far? I always take a shower on Saturdays and I dunno why but I get very tired after my shower and want to just wanted to take a nap. Mom uses this leave in conditioner for me and I look like a punk rock cat (think of a cat with all its hair standing up) after it's being applied.

Mom went out after feeding me an early dinner and was home sooooo late. Uh-oh Mom, wait till Dad finds out you came home so late!!

Mom says Dad is coming home!!! Yippppeeeee! I can't wait for Dad to be back. It has been close to two weeks now.

I was given a new toy to play and Mom took a video of me having so much fun with it.

Prison Break....NOT!

Dear friends,
I am happy to report that my jail sentence is *OVER*. It lasted for 24 hours & I did not have to plan an escape like Dad's favourite show - Prison Break.

This was the reason why I was jailed two days ago. Was it really that bad? Mom saw this the moment she came into the house after a long day of work. She was speechless for a moment, I thought she was just too happy to see me!! Well, there isn't any snow in Singapore and Dad has been telling Mom about the record snow fall in Illinois so I just wanted to re-create the feeling of snow in my very own backyard. Plus those blue gloves just fell from the sky during the day.

I also made a huge mess at my pee tray. Warning - the next picture is kinda gross. Yeah, those puddles are my pee and poop all over the place.



I was grounded and here I am in my jail looking pensively at the sky.



How did I get myself out of jail? I showed Mom what a good girl I am...if I want to be. I made sure pooped at the right place and no messy puddles of pee!





I'm glad I'm out of trouble for now. Thanks for all your concern. Now let's all enjoy our weekend~!

Uh-Oh...I'm in BIG trouble...

I hate to say this, but I've been grounded & jailed cos I made a BIG BIG BIG mess in the kitchen last night. I also chewed Mom's oven gloves (quite tasty) and she can no longer use them. She's really angry with me and I'm currently serving my jail sentence.
Photo evidence of the crime scene has been taken and will soon be uploaded.
Wish me luck - I'm not too sure when Mom will let me out!!

PS : I did poop neatly on my tray this morning and Mom praised me a little but she still said I have to stay in my play area for today. I guess I'll have to continue giving her those puppy cute looks to get myself out of trouble.

Extreme Makeover - My Toys (Part 2)

Hi everyone!

I'm back to show you my toys after their extreme makeover session with me. Remember I told you a few days back Mom gave me a few furry toy? I hated the big flappy ears so I decided to well...do something about it. The ears look prettier now right? I wanted to work on the legs but Mom took the toy away. Bummer.


And here's monkey 1 & monkey 2 after their makeover session. One of them had a tummy tuck - I removed some of the stuffing. The other monkey? I tried to bite off his arm but as usual, Mom caught me in action and monkey was taken away from me.


I still love monkey a lot and get really excited when Mom gets me to fetch monkey.

Here's my favourite toy of all time! Alfred the Bear. This is a before & after extreme makeover picture. Mom said she should have taken a close up of Alfred cos he no longer has his ears, eyes and nose. Oh yeah, no more tail and underpants too.

My Toys (Part 1)

Hi everyone,
Here are my toys that keep me entertained during the day. Mom says I have way too much toys but I don't think so.

I love them so much cos they have this lovely smell. I don't really like those hard plasticky toys - no Kong toys for me i say. You see that red dumbbell toy? I'll bite it and run around all day with it plus it squeeks too! I love toys with squeekers. Mom says I have no sense of time whatsoever cos she hears me playing with the red dumbbell toy in the middle of the time. But I'm just a puppy and I need to wake up at night to tinkle so since I'm already up - i play with my toys!! I love big brown bear a lot too. I'll grab him and toss & turn him around. Yup, I play real rough so don't mess with me! GROWL!

Mom & Dad always gets me new toys but they don't allow me to play with them until the old ones are spoilt. HA - that's why i decide to quickly go through my old toys so I can have the new ones soon. They always get me two or three of the same toy. Like the orange monkey? I have like 3 of those...two are already remodeled by me (Mom took a pic of them. Will update in another post). And my favourite toys in the whole wide doggie world - the bears with the cute little underpants! Oh gosh...they are soooo fun. I take off the pants and mom puts them on..i take them off again and she puts them on again.

I'll show you my remodeled toys (mom says destroyed ones) in the next post. Mom has no sense of humour whatsoever.

Chinese New Year

Hi Everyone!

It's the first day of Chinese New Year. Mom will be off from work the next few days so i have company and hopefully, she'll let me blog more.

Mom insisted that I should "stay" so they could take this pic of me. I went to the vet two months back to be spayed. That's another story altogether. :) My belly looked kinda nekkid in this pic.

My Home

I promised earlier that mom would take a pic of my home (play area) to show all of you. Well, here it is!!


That's my home. Mom will get me to stay inside when they go out to work and I get lots of toys and sometimes a rawhide to keep me occupied. On days where I don't mess up my home, I get lots of praises and biscuits when they get home.

I drink from a bottle cos I make a mess when they leave me a bowl of water. The yellow thing at the end is my pee tray. I go onto it and do my business and mom clears the paper everyday. I have a blanket and a bed at the other end to sleep in. I love my home.

Mom made some yummy dinner for me yesterday. It's kibbles with apples. Yum yum.



I have pics of my toys to show you but I gotta go now. Mom's calling me to play fetch!!

Weekend is near - yipee!

Hi friends,
The weekend is near and I'm looking forward to it. That means mom will be at home and i heard her say she's gonna bring me to the grandfolks place for dinner. Yum yum...i wonder what special food i'll get.
Grandfolks have 6 year old corgi named Piper. I tried playing with her once but she didn't seem to like me much. Hmm...i better stay away from her.

Mom gave me a new toy yesterday..it looks very furry and i hated the ears so i well, decided to chew it away. Mom says I shouldn't have done that cos it's so new. What? New? It's mine right? I can do anything I want with it.

She says she'll post a pic of all my toys...I have this really cute toy called Alfred the bear. Alfred wears underpants so I have so much fun removing the pants and chewing on them.

This weekend is the Chinese New Year and it's going to be long holidays for everyone in Singapore! Yippee!

Having Monday Blues

I'm back after a weekend break. Dad was busy packing and there were so many new smells for me. He had this funny looking bag with wheels and all his clothes are inside. I wanted to jump into that bag and dig around his clothes. They smell too clean - they should smell more like my blanket.

Did you tell you I sleep in this doggy bed with a blanket every night? Mom switches on the night light for me before she says good nighty and give me a nice belly rub.

Thanks Copper for the tip on how to insert pics! I think I understand now. That's me LUCKIE!

Made a big mess this morning in the kitchen. Mom didn't look too happy cos she was already late for work but i hate mondays cos no one is at home to play with me. I heard them saying something about leaving very early tommorow to take a air-o-plane? What is that? Is it some new toy for me? I don't understand hoomans at all.

My Very First Post

Hi everyone!! This is my very 1st post. :) My mom already set up the blog for me before I arrived in Singapore but well, she got kinda lazy and even though I have tons of pics to post I think she's just too lazy to do so. *bah*

I love reading other doggie blogs. I hope I can post as often as you guys.......

How do i post my pics within the blog? Anyone can help me?

PS : My dad's going for a business trip to Libertyville next week and he doesn't know how long he'll be stationed there. Mom's feeling really moody and starting to miss him real bad. I mean, i'm here with her right? She keeps giving me THE LOOK like it's my fault she can't travel with dad. I'll miss dad lots too...bummer.

Is there anything I should get dad to bring back for me from Chicago/Libertyville area?
